Product Description

In-Center Sleep Testing is performed at Sleep Medicine Institute of Texas, PA. It is an AASM accredited Full Service Sleep Disorders Center in Tyler, Texas.  This service is available only for residents of Texas. The study is performed by registered Polysomnography technicians that have 20+ years of experience and are fully trained in performing all types of in-center sleep testing. The supervising physician is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine.

There are six types of in-center sleep tests. Three of these are performed at night and one of these is performed during the day. These are more advanced than home sleep apnea testing.

1. Diagnostic Sleep Test: (6 years and older) This is a night sleep study and is used to diagnose a variety of sleep disorder including sleep apnea, periodic limb movements of sleep, sleep-related cardiac arrhythmia, sleep-induced hypertension are amongst some of the sleep disorders tested at Sleep Medicine Institute of Texas, PA.

2. Titration sleep study: (6 years and older) This is a test that is used to determine the type of PAP device, mask or nasal pillows and amount of pressure required to control Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

3. Split-Night Sleep study: (6 years and older) This is usually done as a combination of 1 + 2. For a few hours a diagnostic study is performed followed by a titration study for the remainder of the night. This provides results of 1 and 2 together in one night at a substantial discount of $800.

4. MSLT: This is a day study and is performed primarily to confirm the suspicion of Narcolepsy. It is always done following either 1 (Diagnostic) or 2 (Titration) but never done following 3 (Split night).

5. Pediatric Diagnostic Sleep Study (Age: 3 months to 6 years): This is a night sleep study and is used to diagnose a variety of sleep disorder in children including sleep apnea, periodic limb movements of sleep, sleep-related cardiac arrhythmia, sleep-induced hypertension are amongst some of the sleep disorders tested at Sleep Medicine Institute of Texas, PA.

6. Pediatric Titration Sleep Study (Age: 3 months to 6 years): This is a test that is used to determine the type of PAP device, mask or nasal pillows and amount of pressure required to control Obstructive Sleep Apnea in children.

Please select an option before placing it in the shopping cart. If you select MSLT (4) you must also select Diagnostic sleep study (1) or Titration sleep study (2).

Please make sure you create a member log in and provide a valid phone number or email address to receive communications and sleep test reports. A scheduling specialist from Sleep Medicine Institute of Texas will contact you for providing detailed instructions about the testing. They will also work with you to acquire necessary completed forms for privacy and medical care and for the detailed information about your referring physician. This test usually requires a physician's prescription. In the absence of such, a telemedicine consultation may be required with the physician at Sleep Medicine Institute of Texas.

These services are for Texas Residents only at this time.

How AIO Breathe Works

  • Enhanced Airway: Increases the patient's airway during sleep, improving air exchange, reducing snoring, and alleviating obstructive sleep apnea symptoms.
  • Protrusive Flanges: Features right and left protrusive flanges that engage with corresponding vertical flanges, repositioning the jaw to reflect the dentist's prescribed anterior mandibular advancement, maintained whether the mouth is open or closed.
  • Mandibular Plateaus: Guides the mandible downward, opening the anterior airway. The plateaus and flanges allow vertical jaw opening and maintain advancement in both open and closed mouth positions.

My previous experience with CPAP and oral appliance were so bad. Dr Ghuge made AIO BREATHE for me which is the most comfortable oral appliance ever! It is so small and easy to use that even for my small mouth it feels like there is nothing in my mouth at all. The AIO BREATHE helped reduce my BIPAP needs, and I am getting the best sleep ever.
